Hey all you cats and kittens! Today is the day we celebrate the birth of our country!
I didn't know what a country was, but I love celebrations! Obviously, I had to do some research. This is what I found out.
Establishing a country and giving birth to a new nation is hard work! The most important thing to remember is it couldn't be done without cats. There have always been hardworking cats taking care of the citizens of our great United States. Some of the founding fathers had cats. John Adams had cats. Ben Franklin had cats. There have been 11 first cats. Over forty-six million households in America are run by cats.
So, while you are celebrating, remember that it all wouldn't be possible without hard working cats.
I admit I am very excited! This is my very first 4th of July. Mommy is worried I will be afraid of something called "Fireworks." They sound wonderful! I keep watching for them out the window. I hope they arrive soon!
